Getting My Gourmet Groove On

Check out the mouth-watering delights over here.

We’ve got some asian steak bite-kabobs, smoked salmon bites, and of course what appi feast is complete without your tater skins. (Missing from the pic are a delish pizza and zucc/tomato casserole.  All made with a glass of wine in hand love.

As much as I’d love to take credit for this feast of feasts – the kudos go to one Miss Erin G (aka SIL).  When asked to go for lunch one saturday, one would expect to have a pleasant time with family and some yummy food.

What one wouldn’t expect would be to be inundated with 5 (Sorry, 6 including the yum choco-cake) homemade courses and to be eating continuously for over 3 hours!

Needless to say it was a good day to be wearing maternity jeans (Habitual/stretchy waistband/allowed for that one extra tater skin).

Rin’s creativity got me thinking about the weekly menus of my own household.

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach…

Well the romantic equivalent of eating the same dishes every week must equal = Missionary position with lights off and no talking.

So, my dear readers, as much as I’m sure hubby adores the culinary delights I sweat and swear over lovingly create – This StylinMommy is in need of some new menu ideas!

So please feel free to advise on new recipes, cool cooking techniques and even unusual ingrediants.

My tummy eagerly anticipates your contributions 🙂
